What a HAUL!

Wow this weeks add was great for our family! I got so much stuff that it even prompted the checker to say that she wants to start couponing! And this weeks shopping included out Christmas ham and a couple treats!
So before sales and coupons this would have cost $231.60. And After, what I paid, was just $37.83! That is a whopping savings of $193.77 or 94%.
And lets add another blessing on top of it. I paid with a gift card that I won from a Gatorade/Publix sweepstakes and received in the mail a couple days ago. So technically there was absolutely nothing out of my pocket for all this! And I still have some left on my winning gift card! God is amazing!!

Hi, great shopping trip! I was wondering what newspaper do you purchase for your coupons and I noticed some coupons that you used that I have not seen posted on other sites "match ups"-Like $1.99/1 Swiss Miss, $0.70/1 Froot Loops and $2/2 on Starbucks. These are great coupons to match up. Where can I find them? Thanks for your help

Thanks for all the great comments.
The Publix store coupons for the Starbucks was on a tear pad right by the Starbucks 4 packs. And the Store coupon for the Swiss Miss was in this last Sundays inserts. I think it was the smart source.
I get the Tampa Tribune and St Pete times. But you really need to check because sometimes there is not all the inserts that should be in them. I have no idea what their reason for them being all there some weeks and not others. But also the St. Pete Times is still only .50 for the Sunday paper. So if that one is available and has everything it is supposed to I get that.
Also the add this week said to look for a buy 2 get one coupon for the Starbucks but my store had the 2.00/2 instead. Not sure why but It worked out to a better deal anyway because it was a store coupon and not a manufactures.
Also the .70/1 Kelloggs coupon was on the box. Happy surprise!
And the Manufactures coupon for 1.99 Swiss Miss was a printable from Smart source. Unfortunately I do not think it is available anymore. It was from last week.
I hope this helps a bit.
Thanks again!

Do I undersand you correctly ~ It sounds like Publix took your Target coupons. Do they accept competitor coupons? And what is BOGO? Thanks for your help!!!!!

Valerie,
Yes, Publix takes competitor store coupons. Which stores they take will vary from store to store. So it is best to talk to someone at customer service to see which competitor coupons they will take.
And BOGO means BUY One Get One. That is what the sale was at the store. And here in Florida for the Publix BOGO sales the items will ring up as the first one full price and the second $0.00. So you need to make sure that you are getting the BOGO items in twos to get the best deal. Other states BOGO sales will ring up each item half off. So in that case you can get one of an item or uneven numbers and still get the sale price.

I've just begun to focus on what I'm spending at the grocery store. Just started planning meals, (freezing them so as to save me evening time with my family too), But I haven't saved to much within this first month. How do I do what you do? We have only two grocery stores in our town, but there's a walmart about 35 minutes down the highway. The closest Target is two hours. :( Can I still make this work for me?! I'm gonna go read more in your blog, because I'm excited to have savings like you have.
