Or push harder on the accelerator and just go faster if you're hungry!Jason Vhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16711375804083329952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026457809681503656.post-43936168502210360042010-11-08T19:26:35.854-05:002010-11-08T19:26:35.854-05:00Yeah, if we had known they weren't going to le...Yeah, if we had known they weren't going to let us stay at all, we would have kept going. We still had a decent amount of daylight left. So we definitely could have made it. We were mostly just hoping to make it easier on the girls.

It was a pretty tough day, mentally, but I think finding a place to stay with the authorities wasn't easy. I think we could have pushed the girls to go a little farther.

The biggest problem with riding like that is not knowing what is coming up.
- You don't know exactly how far it is?
- You don't know what the terrain is going to be like?
- You don't know what provisions will be ahead.
It's the unknown that is the hardest part of pressing on in that situation, when you are already exhausted.

I think it worked out to our benefit, because we were able to have a more relaxed day the next day, and enjoy some scenery that we probably wouldn't have seen if we had to go to the campground.
AlAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11508129590857404327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026457809681503656.post-27372235669849141132010-11-08T13:41:18.015-05:002010-11-08T13:41:18.015-05:00wow, interesting day!
